What is this?

This is a configurable compensation calculator linked to two Notion databases. The first database records roles and base compensation rates, while the second database captures factors such as location, levels, and steps. Once configured, the databases are used to generate a compensation calculator that can be embedded in any page across Notion.

How does it work?

Using Notion's integration service, an API is used to fetch the data from both databases and update the dropdowns, sliders, and chart. Each calculator is linked to the database pair for a single Notion Teamspace.

Steps to get started:

1. Buy the calculator!
2. Download the template
3. Add your roles and base compensation rates
4. Add the location, level, and step factors and their percentage values
5. Click the "Generate Calculator" button
6. Select the Compensation Calculator Template
7. Copy the link and embed it in your employee handbook or compensation overviews in Notion!
